Marketplace Street & Santa's Village

01

Holiday Marketplace

We welcome a variety of local businesses to showcase holiday- and gift-themed products and services. The Holiday Festival is a family event, and vendor merchandise must be appropriate for that audience.

The Marketplace Street Fair is a beloved highlight of the festival — a shopper's paradise of local vendors offering unique, mostly handmade wares. Mark your calendar and grab your credit card as you launch your holiday shopping, Ahwatukee-style.

What kind of vendors are accepted?

Arts and crafts

Unique, handmade items — especially holiday-themed — for our two primary marketplace locations: Marketplace Way, and Santa's Village, which is kid and family focused. Kid areas can be craft focused: toys, light-ups, ornaments and the like.

Items do not have to be 100% homemade, but they must be original and customized in some way. We want a boutique market with things you can't find elsewhere. If you believe your items fit but are not handmade, email jamie@lightupahwatukee.org with pictures or social links.

Local services

We allow some area service-based businesses to have a presence at the festival — local dentists, chiropractors, roofers or banks, for example. Located in their own space in the park, these vendors follow the same guidelines as other marketplace vendors.

Service vendors should include a fun activity for visiting families: giveaways, roulette wheels, balloon animals, dog treats. Your chosen activity needs to be submitted and approved by the committee before the event.

Licensing & space

A State TPT license is required, and you are solely responsible for reporting your tax and income to the individual cities. Apply for a TPT license.

Each vendor is assigned a ten-foot by ten-foot space. You bring your own 10×10 canopy tent, and your own power source if needed.

Marketplace pricing

Rates include a 10×10 space for the entire day of the event. No vendor spots are sold after November 13.

Arts & crafts vendors

Regular — through October 31$170
Late — through November 13$190

Local service vendors

Regular — through October 31$300
Late — through November 13$350

A Pick Your Spot option is offered in November for premium locations.

Read first

Please read the LUA Holiday Marketplace Rules, Regulations and Guidelines before applying. All vendors must abide by every item listed. If your application is accepted and you do not follow these rules, you will be asked to leave the market with no refund. Download the rules (PDF).
